Very interesting article. Not sure I understand it but then agan the whole concept of crypto -currency escapes me entirely. I only bet on things I understand and then only if the odds are in my favor.. The thing with the Paroli strategy is that you are wagering less with your money and more with the house's money each time. On the 2nd bet, half of the wager is the house's money (or was until you won it) and on the 3rd bet, only 1/4 is yours. As you say, you can win 7 or lose 1 which is what you started betting with. Strategically though I would say that you need to have a 'bankroll' of 200 units (a unit being your base bet) before you start playinng. This gives you the ability to withstand losses. The other thing I would strongly suggest is that you never risk more than 1/3 of your total bankroll (the money/credits that you actually have) in any single session and never, ever go beyond your starting bankroll. What this means is that let's say you have a total bankroll of 600 units and you start the session with 200 of them (1/3; this being the maximum you are willing to risk on that session). You lose the 200 and think to yourself, "I can play a little longer". So you dip into your remaining credits and very soon, you find yourself wiped out. Remember that some day,s the universe is with you and others it isn't. Lose your 200 and go homeso you can come back the next day. Finally as you build a bigger bankroll, risk a smaller percentage of it each time; ideally I'd like to never risk more than 10% of my bankroll in any one session. Now I will say that these stretgies I'm talking abour are from my days playing blackjack where playing basic strategy reduces the house's advantage to less than 2% which is considerably less than the 5.9% advantage the house has. Combine basic strategy with te paroli system and you've got a good chance of coming out ahead.
